According to captain Ghazzal, the four international teams from Italy, China, England and Korea have confirmed their attendance so far. They were carefully selected from various teams around the world that registered to participate. The selection was based on quality, capacity and the prestige of past fireworks competitions. Thus, it promises to bring to DIFC 2011 gorgeous and attractive performances with unique features. However, the teams reserved about their up-coming performances and only reveal half of what they plan because they want to surprise us at the last minute, so then it's tough to predict who will be the best team. Mr.Ghazzal emphasized that we will stress safety as the first priority to everyone, from support workers to the team members. His technical team will work diligently to assure the best possible conditions and facilities for the teams at the Competition. This year, each team of six people will have up to five days of preparation with improved working conditions. The Police have also committed to ensure the appropriate coordination to control the crowd so that not too many people gather in one viewing area. This will help to avoid unfortunate incidents.

The last thing I would like to say that Danang is great! Thanks to the close cooperation of citizens, police, military as well as tourism agencies and press in the three previous competitions, the Fireworks Festivals has been very successful. This years’ festival is a great opportunity to attract tourists, because people can see up to 5 performances just in two nights. Whereas many international fireworks competitions can not fully enjoy the performances held only at the weekend of different weeks.
